Can I do all things? Yes you can!

“Dear God, Can I do all things?”

And God says, “Yes, you can!”

In case your mind still has a guess, remember that God always says “YES.”

You can run or you can jump, or you can tumble like a thump. You can sing or you can dance, or you can put yourself in a trance. You can mope or you can hope, you can even fail to cope. You can lose or you can succeed, you can even smoke some weed.

You can be seen or you can see; you can even hide behind a tree. You can eat or you can fast; you can be first or you can be last. You can dress to impress, or you can be downright ugly and depressed. You can strive and thrive, or simply just take a dive. You can be hateful if you’d like, or you can go for a ride on your bike. You can laugh and play, or you can cry over the taxes you must pay. You can complain and grouse, and you can be a wretched louse.

You can love whom you choose, or drown yourself in booze; it doesn’t matter what you choose -heck, you can even lie down for a snooze.

But I wonder, can I still do all things?

And God says, “Yes, you can!”
