Lose track and gain traction.

Thursday, April 30, 2026

Losing track is where bliss blooms. You don’t “dominate” time, “manage” it, or use it “wisely.” Time is imagined. If you try to think about time, you’ll see how tricky it is to pin down—and yet, losing track of it comes naturally.

Imagine that: not having enough time. Not only are you imagining time, you are imagining it running out. Imagine that: running out of imagination.

You are being fooled if you think you can save, manage, or dominate time. How can you mount your own concept or show it who’s boss? The same is true of money and God. Money is a concept; God, too. Money and God seem to mean something, just like time. To the extent you believe in their preciousness, you will be “careful” of them—a mental story of a mental image. Image upon image. Imagine that.

You’ll tiptoe around, worried about time “running short,” stewing about how limited your so-called time is. All of this reflects an inner state of being. Time (and God) will forgive you if you allow Truth to be eternal, unending, and non-conceptual. Truth stands the test of time because time cannot test Truth.

If you’re strapped for time—or cash—you’re handcuffed by your own imagination. Thinking you “have no time” is the beginning of dwelling in eternal Truth, where there is no time, no cash, and no singular being who controls control.

When concepts run out, Truth (and a truce) settles peacefully in the once-unnoticed silence. There is no need to keep up with “the times” when there isn’t anything to be had, managed, or controlled. When you “lose track,” you gain what was never subtracted or “off track.”
