You’ve got nerve, which means to “brace yourself mentally to face a demanding situation.” If you’ve lost your nerve, good. Allow me to introduce you to verve.
Verve is the most direct and magical way, oozing around every obstacle like a wizard with a wand. Verve means “vigor or spirit and enthusiasm.” I used to have the nerve of a bull in a china shop. My success was not great nor fulfilling. I caused damage by putting my head down and charging. Once you pick up your head, you’ll see that you will have destroyed everything in your path, a hot, scorched earth in your wake. You will pay for that collateral damage.
Verve smolders playfully which remains open, supple, and joyous. Like hot coals that have plenty of space and air, verve melts and simply exudes success through the expression of a gooey love from within. You become unconstricted, able to breathe deeply, and one who smiles and smirks. That’s a smolder.
Like a fashion model, you smolder, twinkling like a twink. You allow your passion to breathe effortlessly, melting and thawing your nerve. Others aren’t in the way, fear is. Bracing yourself, or working up your nerve turns you into a bulldozer which builds a damn to verve’s playfulness.
Verve comes from Latin verba which means words. Success is but a word. The glory of success is inward simplicity, open love, excreting frolicsome bullshit, never plowing like a bulldozer, nor driving like a bull in a china shop.
If someone grabs your toy, let ‘em have it. No, really let them have it. Don’t sock it to them, just speak another toy into existence with your verve, and play on as if nothing ever happened. Like a wizard with verve, lose the nerve, drop the bull, and you’ll never be at a loss for success, which is just another bullshit word for love. Love can’t be lost, stolen, or gained.
