We are insane because we don’t understand the relative nature of the cosmos. This can be solved intuitively. How can you speak to “yourself?” How can you hurt “yourself?” How can you lie to “yourself?” And yet, you are singular.
We don’t understand the bifurcation of “self and other,” a simple, inextricable sphere. For the insane, the sphere has only one side. To get “around” this, the sense of other must be intuited. That’s because you can’t see around a sphere. The hidden side is implied by the curvature of its frontal. This bifurcation is accentuated in those who feel strongly “different” than their environment, their surroundings, their thoughts, other people, and the cosmos itself.
You might think of the conscious mind as the “side” of the world you can see, from outer space. And the subconscious mind as the hidden, or dark “side,” the one implicated in curvature. One hemisphere is self (me), the opposing hemisphere is other (you). This polarity connects in spiritual awareness. Jesus said, “I am above; you are below.” Sounds like two-sides of a battery terminal. Each of these seeming opposing entities depend entirely upon each other. There is no dancing without a floor upon which to push. There is no swimming without water to create resistance. There is no energy without inertness. There is no positive without negative and when they join, ZING.
There is no sensation of “me” without “other.” We depend upon each other – ZING. But ultimately, one of these is diaphanous, so sheer it’s likely nonexistent. Spherically, we intuit around the darkness, implied by curvature. I must intuit the connecting hemisphere called “opposition.” I must dive into the darkness and trust the sphere is smooth, connected, and one. In that wholeness, intuited in senses beyond the five, the sensation of “me” diminishes. Eventually, it goes away, and so does suffering.
