You are God! Are you out of your mind! You are, but not as you might imagine that to be. You are God playing the part of “you.” But we misinterpret this as the individual playing God, which is more like a know-it-all dictatorship, and less like a united democracy. It’s not until you see the universe as communal, a larger organism relying on the parts to do their part, but not independently of Divine Mind.
Consciousness is everywhere and seems to lie “outside” of the skull. We’re seemingly wireless, independent of what’s outside of our own skin. But you are not an autonomous pilot driving a bodysuit. There is no reader of these words no more than there is a writer of them. The cell is doing the work of the entire body, but doesn’t know it. The human being can sense totality. The cell cannot.
You can get out of your mind! You can realize that the individual mind is an illusion, and that your “assignments” come with everything they need, in the moment. The need to know, to stay on schedule, and to have everything predictable is the crazy dictator! The real world keeps us on our toes – dancing with variation. The moment leads the dance and it’s always saying “Maybe,” but with a smile and a wag of the tail, not a wag of the shameful finger!
Join with those who are “out of their minds” and have crossed over into the real world, the one that seems wiggly, unpredictable, and full of variation, but is unchanging. The Big Picture is out of our minds and out of our hands and out of the question. Somehow, we can get away from that tiny casket in the skull. When the illusion of separation dies, we are out-of-our-minds, resurrected from the tomb, and birthed into the womb of invisible freedom.
