Tugging the line or toeing the line?

Tuesday, February 25, 2025

Once you realize you can’t cut the cord, so to speak, you might as well stop choking yourself. You will learn that you are indeed being led, not to the slaughter, but to the storehouse of abundance. The place of healing, Truth, and freedom.

Most of us are pulling on The Lead, not realizing that our wayward way will not get its way. You can’t pull, fight, tug, react, and attack and expect to receive lavishness. Your new job is to respect immediacy, not to be on edge about eventuality. Your new job is to sense the leadership, the management above, and to go where you are sent – even into what appears as “danger.”

The Leading Edge is subtle, but can walk right into the thickest part of the forest or the busiest intersection and guide you right to your destination. Your job is not to get all paranoid and question the route, but to pay attention to The Guide within. That’s the part that knows. The lower part of the brain is tugging on the line. But we are to toe the line, to walk patiently, and to be calm – trusting that we are being guided safely, even unto death.

Toeing the line means to follow the rules or obey an authority. Those who are on the path will know what this means. Those who are struggling are far out on the lead, pulling, and choking themselves to death. There is no slack on the line. That’s why they aren’t going anywhere. The Lead wont budge until you relax and release.

You aren’t leading, you are being led by The Leading Edge. There’s a subtle difference. Tension doesn’t pave the way, paying attention does. Paying attention to immediacy, intimacy, and release is what relieves you. Then, momentum resumes effortlessly.

  1. If there can be a “Chicken Soup of The Soul” book with all of these in it with cute flowery art on each page, I would pay THE BIG BUCKS XD Ahaha~ All the Peace, Love, and Gratitude. 🙏❤️
