The supreme intelligence has your back – Play!

Superlative words like “never” and “always” bump up against the limits of the mind, and although we can understand them esoterically, they are impossible to really comprehend. That’s because the mind relies on boundaries, the dualistic nature of opposites. All beginnings have endings; therefore the human brain cannot fully unlock never and always. Boundless words sit just beyond human intelligence, but not so much that we can’t sit back and say, “hmmmm.” Always really means “a long time,” and never really means “seldom.”

There is a higher intelligence at work, which explains these mysterious words and how we can get only glimpses of their truth. That supreme intelligence cannot abdicate to the inferior intelligence. Would you give your children the keys to your car? Would you allow your dog to walk you into a busy intersection? Of course not. But within the confines of your dominion, you give them room for choice. You wouldn’t abdicate your control to the inferior intelligence no more than the universe would abdicate its control to your intelligence. The universe hasn’t given us the keys to totality. That would mean human accession to supremacy. Could you imagine that disaster?

We are simply pretending to have free will. Give a child a small, electric vehicle to drive within the confines of a controlled environment, and they feel like they are free to go where they choose (sort of). The adult has a careful eye, but the child is making what feels like “free choice” under prescribed boundaries. Do you know you are safe? The child could get hurt in her electric vehicle, and the stakes are higher for an adult; but not even death is a boundary. Death is also part of the controlled environment. The superior intelligence knows “always” and “never,” but merely gives us a foretaste of supremacy. You’re just driving around in a small, toy vehicle. Why not enjoy the playtime?
