Running from loss and chasing gain, a fool’s race.

Inability to see oneself as an unfolding truth that’s always leading to your highest good is what keeps people from “winning.” Even the sympathetic, “good church-going lady” who helps the downtrodden doesn’t have it right. She gets an A for effort, but her sympathy is caught in the drama of those who see themselves as “losers,” victims of life. Life has no victims, only people who fail to see victory through their difficulties.

I know it sounds cruel, but what the world needs is an understanding that self-reliance is ensouled into each of us through creative ingenuity called the mind. If it’s not creating a solution, it’s creating a mentality of helplessness. If winning were about material gain, the richest people on the planet would be the happiest, and we know better. Winning is about gaining knowledge of your own potential! There may be times we need a little help, but few are permanently affixed to dependency.

We don’t need to show people how to “love God.” Those are words which mean nothing. How do you love light? You open the blinds and let the light in. Let the light of your truth in. Enlighten yourself to your limited thinking – you are capable of anything that you desire, even to overcome the worst circumstance. How do I know this? Someone has already done it. Winners have learned to draw in goodness and traverse obstacles with a renewed mind. Some chase “winnings,” and they don’t understand why life feels empty. Some feel like misfortune chases them, but it’s all about what you draw into your life by what you think. You draw in, from the external, what you become on the internal. Are you really helping others, or enabling them to continue to think they need you? We all need self-reliance and few know they have it.
