Good ideas come briefly, and during inconvenient times, but when they do, take note, explore, and initiate action. Your good ideas are taking you somewhere. There may be a reason why your ideas resonate with you, so compellingly. Ideas about improving or changing your life, advancing your career, or getting better at something, are not flukes. Great ideas come to those who are ready to respect what comes into their consciousness. No idea can be dismissed, unless it’s destructive. Good ideas feel empowering, and they resonate with your inner desire to make a positive difference in the world. Bad ideas feel selfish, greedy, and spiteful. Pay attention to your ideas about eating better, about staring that project that you’ve wanted to take on, or about getting in touch with that person who came to mind. The workshop of your imagination will activate for your benefit, but only if you learn to take note and to initiate action.
Ideas often start off small, so write them down if they resonate, evenly slightly. Be open. If life can trust you with small ideas, then bigger ones will come in. They are all leading you to solve your own problems, to improve life for yourself and others, and to improve your sense of self-worth. But be careful, the mind will spew out compulsive “ideas” about why you aren’t good enough or why something won’t work. A deeply reflective person knows which ideas are more compelling. Don’t let your mind or others dissuade you from what resonates as a good idea. Great things happen to those who notice and respect their great ideas. So when you get a good idea, don’t let it float away, don’t talk yourself out of it – explore it, and think deeply about all the wonderful places that it could lead you.
