There’s plenty of room for your hidden talent.

There’s plenty of room in the world for you to be you – that’s your “hidden” talent. Talent is misunderstood because it’s actually just a form of honest expression. When you perceive talent in another, you are perceiving a genuine expression of unconditional love. In other words, it’s not what a talented person does, but how they do it, that makes them stand out. Talented people are just being true to their fundamental character, and they express that uniqueness through some kind of “gift,” an offering (a skill, knowledge, help, etc.) to the world.

Some people try to copy talented people, but it never works because one person’s “talent” is like a thumbprint. Each person can only be uniquely themselves, they cannot be uniquely someone else, unless they are a comedic impersonator! Honest achievers express themselves through what they love to do. That love is inherent, ingrained within them, and it’s part of their unique personality. You have that one-of-a-kind talent, too. What you offer may not be unique, but how you offer it is yours and nobody else’s.

Someone has already done what you dream about, but no-one has pursued that dream, expressed it, and turned it into a reality, exactly like you have. Express your unique brand of love through your skills and through your passions. When you are a genuine expression of honest love, people will notice you, and they will think that you have all sorts of talent. Express your true self in the unique way that only you know how to. If your brand of giving is sincere, and you develop some topnotch skills in areas that you love, people will regard you as very talented. But it’s no big deal, actually. Everyone has this, it’s just that many haven’t discovered this “hidden” talent yet, the so-called talent of being themselves.
