The treasure trove of good ideas flows out of an inward journey of self-discovery. That’s the one and only way to “find” what you’re looking for in your life. The best and most rewarding ideas come from a deeper desire to do something great with your life, to contribute to the wellness of the planet, and to help others discover their own, inner, creative power. An extraordinary reality is a manifestation of a well-developed, inward truth. That truth is revealed to those who love, to those who pursue the avenue of desire, and to those who know how to “download” from the abundance of the creative ethos. You cannot download from this cosmic internet if your life lacks discipline and is mired in negative thinking. Those distractions just plug up the flow, and they make life feel like a chore.
To get connected – get curious; get still; and get quiet. Put away your phones and turn off the TV. Sit alone and be with yourself with no thoughts, no sounds, and no external stimuli. The same, quiet force that inspired J.S. Bach, Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Michelangelo, and others flows in you too, but you cannot tap into its power by distracting yourself with gadgets and mindless activities. If you really want to know where good ideas come from, the universe will show you, but not if you’re going a mile a minute. The universe communicates with stillness. If you’re not willing to get quiet and still, it will communicate with a disaster, loss, or in suffering. But it will eventually get your attention. But why wait? Through quiet and stillness you’ll have the proper channels to tune into what lights you up – when and where to find your “eureka” moments. Follow first the smaller prompts of your spirit, journey inward through stillness, and the rest will follow – naturally. Just allow it to work in and through you, and over time – it will grow. But the growth you’ll experience will always be motivated and inspired by love.
