When you launch into something new, success seems limited. I never saw an ab or a cut-in muscle until I dialed in. I learned how to properly eat, workout, and remain enthused, even when I couldn’t physically see a single result.
I loved possibility, however.
I stopped resisting, stopped pushing back. I got tired of looking at my “dad bod.” But I couldn’t hate my body for it to respond. I had to respect and love it first. Love restores.
Financial success is the same. Do you like what you see in your wallet? If you hate it, then expect it to remain empty.
Start envisioning. That’s what I did for my body and my finances. You have to tire of what you don’t see and get excited about Love’s potential, staring back at you. That vision will be more important than what your eyes see. See through the Eyes of Love.
Surprisingly, success creeps up on you if you can love what is.
When I first started playing the organ, initially, it didn’t sound great; but I loved playing, despite what my ears heard. YEARS later, my fingers and toes caught up to that love. Today, they know how to make effortless music on one of the world’s most complex musical instruments. The physical had to “catch up” to my childish love of playing. (“And a little child shall lead them.”)
I have a visible six pack. I now love the process of working out, and I love the instrument (the body). I couldn’t hate the process nor the vessel that would lead me.
Are you tired of what you see? Success begins the moment you tire of hating [what you see].
If you can start seeing through the Eyes of Love, you’ll never condemn anything or anyone you see ever again, starting with the reflection in the mirror.
