Throughout your life you will become transformed. You will grow, and you will change. But there is a part of you that is precipitating those changes. There’s a part of you that wants to be known, not through the mind, but through the body. Your soul, your deepest yearning wants to come through to the surface. Each of us has the desire to explore the world, but it’s not until you realize there’s nothing there to explore that you begin to change. True exportation is internal. The soul is wanting to be known, the inner I AM that calls you to your true nature. It beckons you, deeply. If you don’t answer, the outer circumstance often crumbles – tragedy ensues, routine pervades, and bad habits form. This inner desire is your true nature, your soul, and it cannot be ignored without penalty to your outer shell.
Growth happens in stages, and it happens with pain and trial. But your growth isn’t in what you’re becoming externally, your development as a human is about what is actually growing, internally. Externally, you’re dying and internally you’re being born. The yearning and desires of your soul, eventually have to come to the surface, and if they don’t, you won’t feel like “yourself.” Your soul will find a way to call to you “home,” each and every time you do something you’re not meant to do. Home is peace, creativity, energy, love, and freedom. Home is ease, beauty, aliveness, curiosity, and naturalness. We each have this inner voice that shows us, guides us, and tells us where to go and what to do. Even the birds and all animals of creation have this universal intelligence. But our minds and immaturity prevent us from responding to the call home. When you ignore your soul, your life will feel dull, listless, boring, and routine. Today, take a moment to really listen to your spirit. Listen to what is says to you, ask it what it wants, and give it what it wants. It wants you to love the person you are, and it wants you to be willing to do and to go where it leads you. Let it have its way, it’s the only path towards self-honor, self-love, and self-respect. It’s the only way home.
