Do what you must, but do it with joy – aim for that. Pay bills with joy. Go to your appointments with joy. If joy is too strong, at least do it with no tenseness. Resistance is anathema to abundance. It serves you in no way to complain, particularly if you must do something. You could flat-out refuse, but the bill collector gets his way. They have provided you with a service. The government too. Pay your taxes with appreciation.
Even if you’re being sued and you must pay, do it compliantly, not through gritted teeth. Choice-lessness seems cruel. But you are always redeemed if you side with nonresistance. None of it is yours.
Don’t own a home if you don’t like paying bills. Lots of repairs, insurance, taxes – you name it. A so-called investment is one thing, a liability another. Homes are investments, but they are liabilities. If you enjoy the benefits, remember the costs. Remember the upkeep and repairs are not attacking you. Things decay and break. It sucks, but what can you do? Practice nonresistant compliance.
You’ll find it easier not to put up a fight. Every fight I’ve put up has cost me more than “routine maintenance.” Holding on to money is putting up a fight. Complaining is putting up a fight. Feeling pain when you lose something is putting up a fight.
Catch yourself putting up a fight. No fuss living. Drop your weapon. It’s not yours to keep, to defend, nor to preserve “forever.” Get into the temporary nature. Come at it with “there’s plenty more where that came from.”
Want no conflict? Don’t put up a fight. Want contentment? Be appreciative. Want extra goodies? Be grateful. Want endless abundance? Live in a state of utmost awe for it all. Want ridiculous opulence? Live in speechless wonder and joy. Want heaven? Stop giving yourself and others hell.
