I’ve got questions! Where do we go for answers? God, science, religion, and philosophy are activities in consciousness that give us answers. But where do the questions come from? God, science, religion, and philosophy! If the question comes from the same place as the answer, as the same place as the method, how could we know? Here we go again – questions tossed out into the so-called ether.
The response might be more like “You bet.” Having the questions and answers coming from the same place, the brain perhaps, makes this hard to explain. Some people think they’re asking God for something, merely to pretend they aren’t asking themselves. The requester is the granter in all prayer. But if you’re sending thoughts and prayers “out there,” thump – nada – nought. Empty thoughts and prayers sent out to a dead god in the sky – welcome to religion. We’ve heard it. God is silent. Invisible. Dead?
I’m OK with prayer, if only you acknowledge you’re praying to yourself. I’m OK with questions if only you acknowledge the answers come from the same source. So, is the world good or bad? You bet!
You’ll realize questions are answers and vice versa. Prayers are always answered. Sometimes, I say no to myself. Sometimes the body has pain or a disease. I say yes to it and it lessens. When death comes, I’ll give myself permission to go. I can parent. I can lead and follow. I can be silent and know.
I don’t know how. I’ve learned to prioritize parent/child, and an inward life. The seeker, the sought, the prayer (the one praying), the prayer (that which is asked for) and the fulfiller – all come to me. How impossible is that logic?
Unitive truth defies logic, a logistical nightmare in the unaligned. Seeker is absorbed into what is sought. Questioner and answerer are fused.
Any questions? You bet.
