Divine Flow: There are three words to examine in this key insight to truth – inhibition, prohibition, exhibition.
The word inhibition is broken into two roots – “in” + “habere” which means “to hold.” In a sense, an inhibitor is one who “holds in,” who suppresses the natural process. An inhibited person has this flow squeezed off, like standing on a garden hose. There is seemingly no conduit of spaciousness, but a blockage. The catalyst of creation needs to be dislodged. His foot is on the hose of abundance, which always flows of him, not to him.
To prohibit is similar. “Pro” means “out front,” and “habere” means “to hold.” Prohibition is to hold out front. Here, you have the old adage of the carrot dangling on the harness of the donkey. The donkey is a slave to what’s being held in front of his nose. His desire to “get it” makes him a slave to his own ignorance.
When you exhibit freely, you understand Truth. To exhibit is to manifest or to deliberately display. “Ex” means “out” + “habere” to hold. You might think of exhibition as “holding out,” not restrictively but openly. Is your heart is exposed openly – held out for all to “see?”
You are painting a picture of your inner self. We see you from the inside. Or are you showing us how scared you are, poor you are, self-conscious you are? You want to be a display of transparent love. This is only possible if you feel rich, free, uninhibited, and passionate. Many of us are holding out for these intangibles, which we never “get to.” We’re standing on our own garden hoses, wondering why nothing comes to us? Expose your heart, hold it out for the world to “see.” Everything comes of us, begotten, not made.
