Embrace your age, and welcome “this stage” of life with open arms. Recognizing your helplessness in how old you are helps you welcome it. Embrace your wayward children, and welcome their wanderings, their hurtful actions, and their so-called bad choices. Recognize their choices are not yours, and they were choice-less themselves. Embrace your enemies, appreciate what they offer – lessons of great value. Recognize they didn’t know what they were doing and loving them is another choice-less option.
Embrace your finances, realize how easy it is for you to buy food and clothing, gasoline and supplies. Recognize that value is in what you have by way of real sustenance, not by what goes up and down in your account. Embrace death, welcome the grim reaper. Recognize he was coming. Please stop pretending death is optional! It’s a choice-less option to embrace.
Embrace your body. Recognize what it has done and is doing. If it doesn’t work, at least some of it still does. Recognize what works. Recognize how valuable what works is. As if there is no option to succeed! Embrace your opportunities, even those that require a white flag. Options aplenty. Even if opting to accept no more options!
Embrace the day. Recognize your powerlessness over it’s existence. Embrace your circumstances. Recognize just how OK they are, and realize despite turmoil, you’re managing, even without so-called choices. Embrace chaos. Recognize how important it is and how it’s what allows order and clarity. Embrace need. Recognize how it generates purpose.
Embrace all. Recognize the balance of positive and negative bracing you up. That’s perfection. Welcome home, says the Father who embraces unconditionally. The prodigal returned. Embrace Reality. Recognize yourself and realize you’re home. No options, no choices yet strangely free. Unconditional freedom is not optional. It’s inevitable.
