Issues: Downtime and Uptime

Wednesday, June 4, 2025

For many, accepting what is happening, as it is, and as it was, seems difficult; particularly when it seems nothing is happening at all. Or that “horrible” things have happened. The body becomes particularly anxious about so-called downtime or “having nothing to do.”

We fear downtime. So, what’s uptime? Uptime means the amount of time a system or machine is working “without issues.” And downtime is a term which means a period of time when something is not working. Downtime means it “has issues.” The word issue means, at its root, outflowing.

So one could say downtime, something not working or having issues, is with an outflowing. And uptime, something working or without issue is without outflowing. But the universe, ultimately, is always outflowing and without issue. In the grand scheme, it’s uptime for the win. Unless you have an issue, and you want to “stop time” to talk about it.

The moment you have issues with uptime, you’re downtime. Drop the issues and you’re in perfect working order. Unless you have issues with downtime. If you have issues with downtime, you’ve created a double bind. You have issues with your issues! This is the state of being I used to live in. Meanwhile, the universe ticks away in perpetual uptime – always outflowing and always working – even when “nothing” is happening.

Solomon says, “Keep thine heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life.” An outflowing of Love. Your are The Source, and the issues too. In The Eyes of All, timing is everything. It’s all working, uptime and downtime, unless you have issues with that. Time never stops. With no issues, the universe is timeless and perfect. On a large scale it doesn’t seem to matter if you have issues. There’s no downtime in a system that’s unimpeded. It’s uptime for the ultimate win.
