It may seem like your car is reliable, your marriage is reliable, your situation is reliable, but those are temporary extensions of what’s permanent – the substructure through which all things arise and extend.
Your car is an extension of mind. Destination begins in silence, then extends to an idea, then extends into reality. Your car extends your legs and like a telescopic lens, the original source, the mind, brings you “everywhere.” Your home is the same. Starting with mind, then into the body, then into your house, then into your environment, then into the universe, and so on. It’s all like an accordion, but there’s a catch – the drone of the present moment, that baseline from which all things emerge is forever.
Calamity is percussion. The present moment has an underlying drone. Always consult the drone when you seem stuck in staccato (so-called failings), and you’ll find a way to change, adapt, move away, or move forward.
The basics of faith are simple. Go back to the drawing board, the clear slate of the beginning. Divine Mind, of which all things extend. Come back to the basics. You are the way, but also the temporary obstacle. Consult the connective clarity, the hum deep below the level of logic, and you will sail through. Like gravity, the “ohm” of basic faith is leading and is always “on,” even when the mind brings you on a “wild” ride of percussive stops and starts.
Divine Mind moves effortlessly and underpins calamity. The golden thread of Truth is substructure. Staccato is a temporary extension of drums and cymbals. Faith is quiet and connective. Retrace and retract, and remember how it starts is how it is. If you go back to the basics and come at it with a clear, clean, reliable “out of the blue,” you’ll sail back into it without so much effort, calamity, and stress.
