Praise the maker!

I love results. I love seeing things form, things I wanted to see happen. But there is a trick. I don’t live for results. I live for creating them. They don’t make me happy, and if they don’t materialize, I’m not upset. I just dig being a maker. Fulfilling results are a result of enthusiastic creating. I’m enthusiastic about my divine capacity to be a maker. Shouldn’t that just thrill you to bits?

I love knowing that I create the way for myself. I love knowing that I rely solely upon myself. I love knowing that my creative mind will always help me. I love knowing that problems are projects, and I have a lot of “projects” in front of me. That gives me purpose – to make a way, or better yet, to be the way.

Manifesting gurus tell you how good the goodies are. But they forget to tell you how good it is to be a goodie maker. As a musician, I love just making the music. Things that are tied into what one might consider results are a bit misleading. Just sit me down at the organ, and when I play, I’m in my happy place. When I write, I’m in my happy place. When I am creating, I’m in my happy place.

When you’re looking for results, just go into your happy creation mode. Make it work. Make it fun. Make it easy. Make it not scary. Praise the maker. Give thanks for the maker, for what’s made is nice, but only a little. The fulfillment is in the making, not in what’s being made. What’s made is but a trace of who made it.

Make believe. Make fun. Make love. Make whatever you want, but praise the maker! What is made is over and done with. While results are lovely, the result maker is lovelier.
