I used to feel trapped, like I couldn’t get anywhere in life. But I wasn’t trapped, things were trapped in me. I wasn’t being expressive. I wasn’t letting myself go and grow. I was living on the expressway, moving fast, and wondering why I wasn’t getting anywhere. But like dancing, life has no destination. The point is to dance, not to get anywhere.
You come ensouled with everything you’ll ever say, everything you’ll ever do, and everything that you’ll ever be. Within each human is the full, unrealized archetype. Don’t you want to see your unrealized potential? I want to see everything that’s deep within me, so I must let it flow outwardly.
As your seed of potential breaks down, it dies. The old breaks away causing pain – but you can clear the pain by expressing yourself. Being trapped is simply a sign that you’re holding it in. You keep it bottled up. You have people in your life to express yourself to. Start with those closest to you. Tell them your desires. Tell them your hopes and dreams. Tell them what’s in your heart. Start with a journal if you must. Get it out!
People and situations are not the problem. You are the problem – confess it. You are always the problem. And the problem of being trapped is simply the blockage of divine flow that wants to move through and out of you. Living on the expressway is actually living in the slow lane. You’ve moving fast and getting nowhere.
I have come to realize since we’re going nowhere, all I need is to simply be expressive. What’s in you wants to come out and always be in flow. The expressive way, not the expressway, is the way to get moving again. Remember, there is no destination. Just dance and get it out.
