The True Artist. Drawing out your best.

Friday, May 31, 2024

When I’m with my best friend, we’re like school girls, giggling and making fun of everything. When I’m with my other friend and business associate, we’re like spiritual pioneers and creative engineers. We dwell in the feel-good nature of dreaming. Those people draw out my best. Other people draw out my austerity.

Drawing is a creative act, and we draw out features that we wish not to have. Why? We haven’t learned to see ourselves neutrally, and as The Creator who sits at the drawing table. The creature will conform and comply with the wishes of The Creator, if you realize that you’re more like The Creator than the creature.

You are The Artist and Creator. But only after you learn how to observe yourself as a creature, but observing in the third person. The Inner Artist can re-envision and draw out anything in the creature. It can see the creature transform, all happening in the studio of the mind, in the skull. The Artist can stop the merry-go-round shiftiness and draw out the best in the creature.

It can see the creature of me becoming healthy, fit, happy, successful, and consistent. It’s not drawn in by others. It draws out love all the time. Stand back and notice what you’d like to draw out, then declare it. I want to draw out my compassion, my utmost serenity, and my whimsy, not my fear and inferiority. I’ll draw out negative beliefs and erase them. Then, I’ll draw out the Truth in myself and be free from the shifty nature of my outward appearance. That makes me a True Artist, and no-one else holds the paintbrush. My best is drawn out by my Inner Artist, and no one colors my world except for me.
