Chasing away the blues; Share.

It’s better if you share it. If you want to get the most out of an opulent home, have people over for a party. Host events. That’s the fun of having a nice place, isn’t it? What would be the point of having a yacht if no-one was there to enjoy it with you? While things can be fun alone, I believe you get more fulfillment and satisfaction when what you have is shared.

I could write this blog for myself, and essentially, that’s why I started it. It’s an extension of my own journaling. There would have been no need to put it online, would there? But that others read it gives me even more joy. Sharing multiplies your joy. How about that? It’s all for you!

Anything you do is an extension of yourself. When we extend ourselves, we extend our inner love and joy. If you are a musician, artist, writer, or performer, you get a high when you share. I know how joyful playing a musical instrument is, but in the presence of others, that joy is magnified. It’s not for the listener per se, it’s for the performer, ultimately.

Sharing is self-enhancing. Sharing magnifies why you are doing something. It’s an unconditional expression of love. Someone may dislike what you’ve shared, but that can’t take away why you’ve done it in the first place, can it?

Sharing raises you to a higher level. It demonstrates that love is in unlimited supply. The sharer gets more than those who are being shared with, but it is a win-win. Why do it, if it’s not enhancing enjoyment in you? Share your stuff, share your talents, and share your love. If you want to chase away the blues, share.
