When will it change? Why do people let me down? Why are my circumstances causing me worry? Why does the outside need to change before I realize where my sense of love, peace, joy, and fulfillment come from? “For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory” is referencing your capacity, your inner strength, and your joy and praise! “Your will be done” is not talking about a mysterious outside will, but that you’re it – you’re the source of divine will speaking through you. Your will be done is an absolute willingness on your part to do what the internal voice of truth directs you towards.
I am the source of peace – peace doesn’t live outside of me nor without me. I am the source of my own health, wealth, and comfort – they don’t live outside of me nor without me. I am the source of my feelings of love and togetherness – they don’t live outside of me nor without me. I am the source of my own sense of dignity, joy, power, effectiveness, and playfulness – where on the exterior can I find these precious gifts of grace?
I know the exterior is me too, but it’s a vague version of me. But, I can trust it, even if it looks like it’s not me. The exterior depends upon me in a certain way. If I didn’t have awareness, the exterior would not be, but neither would I. So the exterior depends upon me, and I depend upon the exterior, but I do not depend upon its particular arrangement. My interior seems independent. If I sort out my interior with great delight and ease, my exterior conforms. Can I be at peace with the exterior, excused from the illusion that it needs to be anything more or less than what it is? Of course, but only if I understand my source.
