Manifesting has been a hot topic on and off for some time. It was made into a fad with the popular book, The Secret. But it’s often hard for people to understand. So, I want to give you my take on it, and maybe it will help you understand that manifesting is a state of being.
In the book of Mark, Jesus says, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” This is slightly rephrased in the Tao, “When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.” In the Bhagavad Gita, a slightly different take, “Whatever state of being one remembers when he quits his body, that state he will attain for sure;” and, “Man is made by his beliefs. As he believes so is he.”
All of these references hinge on the belief that you have everything already. But belief is the tricky word. In diving into it, I discovered something surprising. Belief has two parts, the prefix be- and the word lief. Be-, as a prefix means all around; and the word lief from old English means gladly, or in Germanic roots it means love, so belief means all around love. The word ‘already’ is easy to break down. ‘Al’, means whole, and ‘ready’ means arranged (wholeness-arranged).
To believe that you have it already means the following: Be = all around; Lief = love; All = wholeness; Ready = arranged. My take on manifestation is this:
I am love all around and I am wholeness arranged in human form. I gladly accept. What more can I ask for? Manifesting is knowing you have it all because you are all. How can anything be missing? When it comes to your heart, celebrate! It’s yours, but it was yours before you even had a clue.
