To determine what’s easy, you look at the evidence. If the external evidence points towards what’s “logical,” that’s the direction you’ll likely go. That’s called “playing it safe.” In that case, action is determined by the external clues. But real advancement is towards the internal clues. The internal dynamics want adventure, growth, excitement, and moving towards what seems impossible. That’s not necessarily playing it unsafe. Playing it unsafe would be withdrawing your life savings and buying lottery tickets with it.
If you always play it safe, you’ll end up conflicted. The logical part of the brain can’t see how, but the spirit yearns for what’s beyond “how.” If you go with what’s easy, you deny yourself growth, and life is for growing! If you want to show yourself that you can, then you must take risks. Risk-taking is your spiritual food.
If what you want seems like a stretch, and you’re confident in your desires, then you’re in a good place. Advancement is a stretch. It’s a stretch into and across the chasm of the unknown. If external evidence says it’s “impossible,” and the spirit knows what it wants, you have an opportunity to sharpen your faith. Don’t fear the so-called lack of evidence. Always go by the spirit. It has a better plan. Show yourself that you can reach across the chasm. If you step towards it, you’ll find personal advancement to levels that will blow your “logical” mind to smithereens. The easy way out is not the direction of growth, but of stagnation and death. Abundance is towards the hard way in. Put your faith to the test. You’ll see the so-called lack of evidence is an illusion, and the reward on the other side is the sweet heaven you so desire.
