Doing is easier than trying.

I’m tired of trying. What is trying if not failing? When the tax bill is due to the IRS, tell them you’re trying to pay them. See how well that goes. Is there really a difference between trying and doing? Trying is merely a backhanded word for failing. Failing is merely a word for inaction. It’s that simple. You either do or you don’t.

If you can somehow press down a piano key, you just played the piano, and it was effortless, perfect, and without blemish! Even a wrong note is still playing the piano. Trying to play the right notes and rhythms is still playing the piano – no trying! Trying to love someone is only making them into an enemy. Just love them instead. Trying to make the best of it is also just making everything dreadful. Just go ahead and love all of it.

Try to dislike your favorite color. How ludicrous! You don’t have to try to find your favorite color. Your favorite color finds you. It’s only going to make you very frustrated if you keep trying, trust me. Instead just do and be. Do because you love it. Do because it comes naturally and easily. Be easy while you’re doing. Go ahead, stop all of that trying for crying out loud.
