You’re free-floating, weightless, and airy. If the surface tugs you into the fight – don’t thrash, just float. The drama is playing out on the screen, and all you can really do is watch, listen, and observe. The surface is not real, but the watcher is real. Engage with the drama like a movie-goer engages with the big screen. Experience the emotions, but keep some space between watcher and screen. See, interact, but keep floating.
The lightness of your truth hovers. It never tries to get into the screen upon which it plays. You can’t keep the images from moving in and out, no more than you can control the outcome. The story is going where the story is going. The watcher watches with awe and ease. They see what comes from the ashes of tragedy, they experience the joy of surprise, and they are very impressed with the amazing screenplay that unfolds with such precision. Bravo, Herr Direktor! What an incredible journey. I almost thought it was real for a while, very convincing.
You are not the surface, no more than a movie is the screen. You are that which is beyond, below, and above. The real you cannot cannot get caught in the harmfulness. The real you sits back and watches. It’s been written, that’s why trying to intercept the script is pointless. Transcend the pull, the tug of good and evil – the illusion of duality. If you get too close to the screen, and you reach in, it will simply disintegrate. The screen is flat, and you’ll see that on the surface are two-dimensional images. What you see as “your life” is exterior. Don’t grab it, just notice, appreciate what’s there, and let go of what’s not. Hover and float like an ameba. Watch and love from the center of your soul.
