While it’s nice to say to someone that you’re praying for them, what good is it, if they can’t hear you? Your so-called good thoughts and prayers are not going into the ethos and being transmitted to their heavenly antenna. Thoughts and prayers are useless if they are going out to someone. Put them on YouTube, instead! At least people will actually hear you. Love is useless if it’s going out to someone too. No-one receives your prayers. No-one receives your love. All of that energy is happening in you and can never go “out there.”
You hear your prayers. You receive your own well-wishes, your petitions, and your requests for healing. But you already have those things, and it’s not going “out” to some distant god. It’s already ensouled into your being by the creator. You can do thoughtful things, say thoughtful words, and do loving actions, but you can’t “send” those words and intentions through the air.
Direct your attention inward and feel the love already there. If you want to benefit others, express your loving, thoughtful, prayerful actions towards them. Thoughts cannot leak out of your own brain. Prayers don’t rise. But your thoughts and prayers can be useful for yourself! They can be affirmative, supportive, and loving, but they are always heard by only you, the listener and generator of them. Stop “sending” your best work (uplifting prayers and love) to others. It’s wasteful. Instead, have uplifting thoughts and generate feelings of love for yourself. You’re the only person in that mind. Stop “sending,” and start receiving. Receive the love and joy that’s already in you. Then, be loving and be thoughtful in your communications and actions. That’s the best way to pray – to be your prayers, in action. You’re wasting your time trying to “send” them. Do them. Be them.
