It always seems like later is better. We save our money for later. We have to wait to have fun – we can do that later. We can wait until we have more time to invest in our health, when things “settle down.” We can wait until Friday before we actually let go and relax. We can postpone feeling loved, until the special someone walks into our lives – always down the road. Why are we waiting? All of this waiting is denying the joy and prosperity that is here, now.
The fullness of life is always now, and it always has been. But too many of us are caught up in daydreaming about future prosperity, that we never come to know what it fully is. Why? We’re too busy working towards it. There is also the reverse – relief. We make such a big deal over some “important” event, that was meant to be joyful, that we only want to get it over with. So when do we get to enjoy, fully accept the blissfulness of life – retirement? Oh no, that’s later too.
The fullness of life’s prosperity is happening right at this very second, all around you, within you, and in the world. You are the fullness of life. You are creation’s most venerable outcome, not contained in the future. Being yourself is simply enough to feel utmost joy, the fullness of prosperity, and the serenity of peace. You cannot postpone the fullness of life, you are it. That doesn’t mean I over indulge, and let myself go. That means I savor each moment, care for myself as a means of respect for who I am, and enjoy what has been given as is. Stop hiding in the darkness of bad daydreams about tomorrow’s so-called prosperity. Prosperity is right now. It’s just waiting for you to stop delaying it and know it.
