If you’re looking to help, to inspire, or to give back, you’ll never run out of ideas or opportunities. That’s the source of blessing – service to others. If everything you do is laced with the intention to give, it unlocks the secrets of blessing. If you’re looking for an idea, think of what you can do to give back, and to promote healing and wellness on the earth. It’s not to think about what you can get. For those whose lives are about service, there is much energy, loads of inspiration, a plethora of opportunity, and a bucket of good ideas. To have an inflow of goodness towards you, the outflow of goodness must firstly come from you.

You are the source of what you want. If you want a blessing, be a blessing. If you want love, be love. Do you get it? You cannot steal from life. Blessings, recognition, and honor are bestowed. Striving is grabbing, reaching, clutching at the blessing. It’s trying to steal, to snag first place, and to force it into existence. But you cannot put a gold star on your own record, and expect to feel blessed. That’s an empty victory.

When your life is about giving your best, helping others, and lifting up the lowly, the universe recognizes you and treasures simply come – opportunity, good ideas, and breakthroughs. You have to be a shining light in the darkness, then the universe reflects that light back to you. Getting, striving, reaching, and grasping can work to some extent, but it is a vain victory and desperately contrived. You have to receive the message before you receive the gifts. And that message? Live a life of service; live in service to peace; meet the needs of love, and the treasures of the world will open up to you in ways that will blow your mind.
