Life gives you two choices, to be a low-roller or a high-flier. High-fliers have mastered unconditional joy. They’ve made peace a priority over getting ahead. Low-rollers, on the other hand are busybodies, manipulating people and trying to mastermind everything so that they can have it their way. High-fliers just know what to stay out of, what to rise above, and what’s out of their control. High-fliers coast blissfully and smoothly, right over the top of the drama.
High-fliers have a bird’s eye view that gives them a broader vision. They have profound wisdom, and they follow it. They have greater expectations, and that keeps up their energy. High-fliers don’t get bogged down in negativity, murmuring, complaining, or trying to “make” it happen. Instead, they simply spread their wings, and they surrender to the natural updraft of their truth. They never have to fight their own battles because they realize there is no fight to be had. High-fliers have free rein of the sky, the spacious firmament of endless possibility. Low-rollers think that they are fighting for limited resources, and that getting their way is how to get ahead. But getting ahead means rising above – that’s the key many of us miss.
At higher altitudes it is cool and smooth as silk. If you can figure out how to be lifted by your natural up flow, then you’ll learn rather quickly that all of that flapping about wasn’t getting you anywhere. High fliers have dominion over the sky, and they are so happy soaring above all the noise and chaos of this world. Those who are foolishly pecking and scratching at the ground are getting nowhere and making a mess out of everything. Will you be a high-flier today? There’s plenty of room up there.
