Mega fortunes have been built because someone thought of a slight way to improve a product or a service. When something needs improvement, most of us would rather complain, rather than to formulate a way of enhancing it, improving it, or making it more valuable. 10% more is enough to make a difference. Creative people are the ones who see the opportunity.
You can make your health 10% better. You can make your financial practices 10% better. You can make your attitude 10% better. If you see a need, you can create a vision, a solution. You don’t have to revolutionize the world to be considered creative. If you can see just beyond what’s wrong (10% is fine), then you are seeing potential in your mind’s eye. If you can see potential, or any room for improvement in any area of your life, you are being creative.
Notice something that needs improvement, and see if you can make it just a fraction better, to make it just slightly more valuable. Why not start with your attitude, your behaviors, your words, your actions, and then branch out? Over time you’ll learn how to improve so many things around you, but start with yourself.. Use your creative energy to improve something about yourself, then once you get good at it, move on to helping others. Most people just complain about what’s wrong, but you can use your creative power to make things better. You can see the 10% margin of improvement, can’t you? Don’t waste your brain’s valuable insight. Get on board with your creativity, put those ideas to good use – especially those that make you 10% better or that add value to others. Nothing is too small. The world needs your creative input, don’t waste the opportunity to improve by grousing about what’s wrong. The world needs creative people, not complainers.
