Today is a fabulous day to take corrective measures. If you never got around to doing those things you needed to do yesterday, make the necessary corrections. You don’t necessarily need to finish everything today, you just need to get started. Research shows that 80% of us will do more than is needed, but we must take the initial steps. Saying that you’ll do it tomorrow has not served you well. Today has arrived, so take corrective measures to start off right.
Each day is a blank canvass. It is not just “another day.” Thinking that today is ordinary is the mind’s way of convincing you to be lazy. Now is the time to correct the thinking that holds you back. It’s the perfect day to correct the things that seem to make you complain. This is a great day to stop grousing and start correcting, erasing, changing, and renewing. If it failed yesterday, make it successful, today. If you complained yesterday, give thanks today. If you wasted time yesterday, be productive today. Today is not here for regret or for having bad attitudes. Wipe it clean. Harness the power of today, and use it to correct things that need adjusting.
