Prosperity cannot be given away. Prosperity cannot be taken away. Take away a rich person’s fortune, and they’ll be back on their feet, rich again in no time. Take away everything from a happy person, and eventually they’ll get back on their feet, leaning to be happy again. Humanity is filled with bounce-back stories, like these. When the poor stumble into lots of money, they end up poor again in no time. We bounce back to the level of our own mindset. When life shakes you up, do you want to bounce back to where you were before, or do you want to excel above, and beyond? There is an inherent need for all humans to excel. We have to get into agreement about this.
Many people only see themselves, at best, as “ordinary.” The more useless people feel, the more harm they create. To be redeemed however, is to feel that your setbacks can be useful for your comebacks. And that your comebacks are catapulting you further into more ways of being useful to humanity.
Help this cause by thinking better of others, reminding them of their redeeming qualities, their beauty, and their usefulness, especially in times they’re having setbacks. Everybody is a potential, not a liability. See others as capable (even in the smallest ways), and remember that they fall short only because they disbelieve in their own usefulness. They don’t need your help to point out more of their personal shortcomings. The universe created no waste, so do your best to see the usefulness in others, especially those who are different. Everyone is essential. Let’s do better about redeeming those who we’ve marginalized in our own lives. Get creative if you have to, but see something useful about those who you’ve dismissed. Then express your gratitude for them being an integral part of your life and the good of the whole world.
