Ready, Set, Go, and save the day!

Ready. Today, get ready, but don’t brace yourself. If you brace yourself, grit your teeth, or trudge through, you’re just making trouble. Getting ready means that you’re prepared to adapt and to accept whatever comes to you. You may even get excited about something good happening, but you have to be ready. Don’t shield yourself, that will put you in a posture of defensiveness, and you’ll attract an “attack” from something negative. Rather, prepare to be untouchable, unfazed, and totally unaffected by what comes your way.

Set. Today, set the dial of your temperament to collected, cool, and calm. Set the mood of your energy to relaxed, jovial, and eager. Set out the welcome mat, let people see you, and allow them to talk to you – just be nice. As you set out your welcome mat to the world, allow some good things to arrive. Set yourself up for success. But don’t forget to set the quality-control dial to beautiful, wonderful, and pleasant. Look for something that makes your day beautiful, and for something that makes you grateful. Set yourself to appreciate, not to complain.

Go. Don’t take a single action or say a single word until you’ve gotten ready, and you’ve set yourself up for having a good day. Impulsive actions and thoughtless words will ruin any good possibility. Let each action that you take and each word that you say come from the part of you that has gotten ready and is set for wanted, positive results. If you are already on the go, however, and you haven’t gotten ready, setup for goodness, then take a couple of steps back and start over. It’s never too late to save the day!
