A person who has grown accustomed to themselves has allowed their flesh to become purely mechanical. But humans are more than machines. Since we are primarily spirits, meaning the vast essence of what makes us who we are is not in material form, we have to understand what that means. A spirit is free. It’s whimsical. Like love, it knows no boundaries; no future; and no past. It literally reinvents itself each second, and so the moment is alive with possibility to those who know who they really are.
A robot is programmed. We are often “programmed” by looping thoughts, the wrong kinds of people, over-consumption, and disturbing images of past and future. How else would you explain why people harm their bodies? How else would you explain why people feel so wretched in their own skin, a place that was designed as your home, your safe-haven. Home is warm, safe, and secure. But the “homes” that many people occupy (their flesh) are not cared for and ridden with psychological shame.
You, the center of your world, that essence that is deep within the body, wants joy, vibrancy, expressiveness, playfulness, and comfort, not bothered by what the flesh compulsively dictates. Once you get a hold of that spiritual power, your life will soar. To be free from the prison of an unhealthy mind and body – what a life! The spirit cannot stand suffering. As you grow aware, you start to become mindful of how uncomfortable you are. As you grow into your eternal truth, frustration, boredom, and neglect will feel like poison. How do you know you’re there? You simply don’t want to be anywhere else, to be anyone else, or to feel anything but love, ease, joy, and serenity. Those intangibilities become your home, and the rest can be left alone. As you feed the spirit, you’ll learn what sits at the controls of your behaviors, and you’ll care for yourself in new ways.
