You are being sustained, nourished, and you are totally safe. You are more than safe. You are so safe that if you knew it, your potential would catapult like a comet. People don’t know that they are safe, that’s why fear paralyzes them. Your money is not sustaining you, and your lack of it is not holding you back. Your home isn’t protecting you. Your worrying isn’t protecting you. You protect yourself by not letting your worry put you into paralyzing despair. Even as a “helpless” newborn, you came with a care-giver, your mother. In and out of the womb you are sustained by the inexhaustible power of the universe. The universe relies on its own power, and so do you! It’s not your job, your money, or your worry that sustains you.
Does the universe need money? Does it need a home? Does it need anything tomorrow? It certainly does not, so why should you? Perhaps a condition of lack is a mental misperception of the truth. The universe is comfortable, it lacks nothing, and neither do you. It even has all of the how-to’s! Your job – chill.
The universe sustains itself, but also provides extra. Buddhist monks don’t “work,” and the community brings them daily food, and they probably have leftovers. Creation takes care of all her creatures, and she can take care of you too! There will be those of you who don’t truly understand, but you’re not protecting yourself with hoards of money, so-called safety nets, cushions, and safe investments. You’re not sustaining yourself in a false womb of comfort, money, stuff, possessions, and accomplishments. Your soul is sustaining you, if only you could believe in it. You are that higher sustenance. You are a substation of the universe’s larger power source – love. Money is not making the real world go round. Love is. You are love.
