Nature knows no difference – it’s total innocence. Nature doesn’t distinguish, it’s inclusive. Does the ocean care who it drowns? Does a disease worry about who it infects? Does death hand select its “victims?” Pets love whoever cares for them, there is no preference, until a bond is made. A dog would chew up the Hope Diamond. A human makes it precious, nature only makes it. Creation knows no difference between day and night. It’s all harmony.
When you believe you are special, you’re dreaming, and I suppose that dream does become a reality to many-a celebrity. But fundamentally, the universe doesn’t call you famous, people do. The universe doesn’t see you as “important” or “less than,” people do. What you believe about yourself and others comes true, but only in a conceptual way. The universe only knows love, and there are no distinctions in the amount it gives.
We must realize who we are; where we come from; and what kind of power is behind what we’re made of. This can be tricky for the mind, which wants to turn everything into an object of distinction. But you’re not an object, you are the eternal subject. You are the totality of creation itself, but the mind will get a hold of that, and turn it into a belief of entitlement. The truth is that we are all born with the super power of our source. It’s just that some people haven’t realized that yet, so it appears that there are differences among us. But we are all fundamentally alike, and life is trying to get our attention. Unfortunately our attention is being usurped by mental clinging that makes a mess out of everything. Untangle from the concepts. Be free to be one with all. That’s the truth of who you are, but it doesn’t make you special.
