Tune into your inner self; tune up your specific desires; tune out what no longer serves you.

Your still, small voice calls you to your truest self, and it calls you to growth and expansion. But a life that is not expanding, feels sluggish, boring, comfortable and routine. There is an inner frequency that needs you to tune into your developmental expansion. Tuning into your inner frequency, the part of you that longs to express desire, to feel fulfilled, and to experience joy, always beckons you to reflect inward. But our lives are filled with so much noise, that the frequency of our higher energy is buried in the mindless use of technology, the constant association with boring, needy people, and the busyness of our daily, habitual routines.

Silence and meditation allows you to tune in, and once you’re tuned in, you can tune up. Tuning up is a refinement, a clarity of what you desire for yourself. Tuning up focusses you on those thoughts and dreams that want to be built up in specific ways. Tuning in is the discovery of dreams and preferences, while tuning up is the refinement of those dreams and preferences (not the planning of them – that’s totally different!) Tuning up clarifies your likes and dislikes; and it helps you pinpoint exactly what you want, rather than just taking what you can get.

Once you’re tuned in (listening to your internal yearning), and you begin to tune up (refining what you desire) you can begin to free yourself from what no longer serves you and your dreams. Tuning out allows you to remove what’s bad for you – including, and most importantly, how you treat yourself; what you negatively believe about yourself; and how you allow others to pull you off track. Be wary of situations, people, and thoughts that extinguish your inner light. So work on tuning in by making time for silence and solitude. Refine what brings you energy by building a specific dream, and tune out everything that draws you away from the passion of knowing, loving, and honoring the desires of your inner self.
