Be careful what you let in. Take great care of that inner kingdom that you control. Notice if you are allowing your inner world to be penetrated by your so-called reality, perturbed, agitated, fearful, or judgmental. Yes, there are consequences to pushing the limits of the physical realm, but that’s part of the game. Once you learn to stay within the boundaries of the physical world, you can begin to stay within the realm of your inner world – that which allows you to thrive in the face of adversity. But the ruler of your inner world is YOU. Take the keys of authority.
Truthfully, you are untouchable. So-called reality can’t “get you,” like that. Internality is magical. It’s boundless and it’s unaffected. You are the superhero of your inner universe. That’s the control you long to have, the control over your emotional reactions, control of your inner calm. The universe gives you the power over that part of who you are.
You cannot be disturbed in ways that you think you can be. Reality cannot reach you that way. All experience is internal. No one can disprove this, so take ownership over that which you’ve been given command over. When you begin to unlock the secrets of your inner kingdom, you’ll begin to see what is within your realm of control. You’ll be able to detach, in the best sense of that word, from the pang of external “disturbance.” You’ll be the gatekeeper, the non-judgemental filter that keeps a healthy space between inner and outer realms. That cushion will save you from your own, created suffering. If you get reliant on that spaciousness, it will help you find your true power, the center of your being. Be the quiet guardian of your inner universe. Keep it pure, let it be joyful, and above all, allow calm to rule your day. Protect your inner kingdom from the falseness of so-called reality. Turn to it for solutions. Go to it for peace, when there seems to be a storm on the outside. But above all, use it to find happiness as your constant companion.
