Not only are you the source of love, you are the source of creative impulse too. When your creative abilities spring forth from genuine desire to benefit yourself and others, you’re expressing love. But we must be careful as humans. The imagination can be used for destructive purposes, to get ahead, and for selfish gain. Exercising our power to destroy is harmful to the world. Instead, it’s better to exercise our power to build, to restore, and to heal. If you don’t consider yourself a very creative person, those destructive thoughts will cut off the flow of ideas and possibility that exits within you. When you go about your life compulsively, with no consideration about what you really want in your life, it’s impossible to access the creative flow of source energy. When you cut yourself off from source energy, your actions are repetitive, routine, compulsive, and obligatory. When you’re connected to it, you feel that anything is possible – because it is!
The source of life is love, yet we feel separate from it. The truth is we cannot be separated from it. Humans are a result of the love energy that made the entire universe. When you create, you’re expressing that love; you’re recognizing it; you’re finding heaven, internally. It’s so plain and simple, yet illusive and hard to understand in the context of physical reality and the consumeristic culture we’ve cultivated on earth.
Anything you create, for the genuine benefit of others, or yourself, is always motivated by love. The formula for creation’s impulse is always love. There’s no question. Work on being creative, and finding that desire for loving expression within yourself. You can start off small, but exercise that power within you, especially in what you create for yourself. The imagination needs exercise. Inner desire needs attentiveness. Allow desire to become known to you. Allow the creative force of the universe to work its way through you, into the physical realm. Express your creative abilities, and you’ll become one with love itself.
