Today, find the best version of yourself in all that you do and in all that you say. You know you’re doing your best when you carefully pay attention. There’s a saying that goes, “The devil is in the details.” But honestly, God is in the details. When you concentrate and focus on one thing at a time, the quality of the moment dramatically improves. When your standards of focus improve, life has a way of organizing around that standard. You’ll begin to see life respond to the level of focus that you put into your work today. On the other hand, if you have so much going on, and you are pulled in a million, different directions, life will not organize in your favor. It will seem chaotic, disheveled, and irritating.
Today is a great day to raise your standard. Don’t settle for what’s easy and don’t engage mindlessly with your daily activities. Raise the standard, even in the smallest things like making your bed, tidying up your place, or in your interactions with other people. You raise the standard by raising your level of awareness and care. Don’t just raise your standards for others, do it for yourself. Even if no-one sees your carefully made bed, or they don’t notice your respectfully worded email, do it for yourself. Raising your standards shows the universe that you respect yourself, and that you care about each moment of your life. Treat each moment with dignity and the respect that it deserves. In all that you undertake, inch the bar higher. Show the universe that you care, and that you are grateful for all that comes to you this day. By caring, you’ll do better work, you’ll feel better about yourself, and others will come to your aid when you need their assistance. With a higher standard, you call forth a higher abundance into your day. You develop a deeper appreciation and love for yourself and others. Work for a higher standard today, and life will respond in your favor!
