There is no greater freedom than the peace of mind that comes when you express the truth of who you are, and what you really need to do in and with your life. Truth allows your caged spirit to soar – high above the clouds. But once the truth is set free, there is no stopping it. The truth is essentially expressing a deep-seated desire that beckons you to take action, to make changes in your life, or to express your honest emotions, when asked, “How are you?” The truth is honoring who you are, not denying or betraying who you really are. Examine everything you believe about yourself. Do your beliefs express the truth? Are you really incapable? Are you really too busy? Are you really lazy? If the internal answers to these questions are blurry, confusing, or if the answer is a downright “no,” then you are lying.
Your inner truth desires to be known to you and to the world. Bring it forward and stop waiting for an external sign, or for the “right” time. The truth is deeply implanted in the pang of your desire. As you honor your own desires, you begin to live your truth, and life begins to feel easier and more peaceful. When you honor your body, you make better choices about what you put into it, about what you do to it, and about how you care for it. When you honor your finances, you won’t be compulsive or feel guilty in how you spend, use, or earn money. When you honor your intuitive emotions, you’ll understand, you’ll heed, and you’ll listen to what they’re telling you. When you honor your words, they will feel nourishing, healing, and profound. When you honor your gifts, you’ll use them for the benefit of yourself and the world. When you honor the present moment, it will feel peaceful, blissful, easy, and totally on track. Honor yourself by practicing and expressing what is truly within you. All else is fear and compulsion. There is a better way – the way of honesty and truth. It’s up to you to set it free by paying attention to what’s already inside of you.
