Nothing matters more than what you allow in. If something negative seeps in, you can burn it up before it penetrates any more deeply. You’re not a container, you’re more like the sun, which is not a solid object. The sun is a spacious energy, burning with love, impenetrable and untouchable. What gets close to it simply burns. What’s inside, pure energy. That’s you, pure energy, yet totally free. Yes, we’re empathic creatures, but we’re not retainers, we are source energy. Before anything “reaches” you, it can be incinerated. Back up and give like the sun gives. The sun provides abundance that sustains life on a tiny speck it hasn’t never seen.
You’re more like the sky too, the openness that lets all things pass. Be energy like the sun, burning up what gets too close. Be space like the sky, things move right through with no friction. Respond if necessary, but not from a place of reactivity. Respond from far away. If necessary, be direct, but from openness. Burn it up, let it pass through, but keep energy and space expanding within you.
Words sting, when you let them in. Turn off the phone if you have to. “Up” there, it’s twinkling bliss. Be the sun. Be the sky. That’s the right perspective, emptiness or glowing warmth – blind to all. It passes through, or it burns up. Within you lies vastness so deep that words never get to You. If the earth were any closer to the sun, it would evaporate. You’re too big, you’re too powerful, any tiny word will disintegrate. It cannot get to You. Your true self is unreachable, so vast and radiant that it cannot be extinguished by a word. How can any word ever sting you when you’re just an energy, a radiant source of light and love?
