One day, I was sitting in my backyard and picked up a stick. I started examining it, peeling back the small layers, and inside saw an intricate network of tiny veins and fibers that held it together, giving it structure. There was so much more to that stick than I could see. There’s even more than the most powerful microscope could see. I realized the vastness of the microcosm.
The scale that we’re working on as humans is minuscule. Sometimes we want to hit it “big,” but that’s a dangerous mentality. If you suddenly came into millions, it simply isn’t the same as earning it, building it up with your own ideas and merits. Working on a smaller scale is so much more rewarding when you begin to see the miracle of how it adds up over time.
The smallest forms of your creative wisdom are your thoughts and words. They are as powerful as the contents of a seed. As a gardener enjoys the process of germination, so too does the master creator enjoy cultivating thoughts. These tiny layers of your own life blossom into experiences, attract people and ideas. So be careful what you plant. Stay steady with your thoughts and words, they must be fertile, positive, and encouraging. If you’re unhappy with your life, restart with small building-blocks – new thoughts and new beliefs that lead to experiences. Life will unfold in better ways, but not if you don’t understand the small details of your words and thoughts – they matter! Remember, much of the physical world is microscopic, and we’re unaware of how it all comes together. The details begin with your thoughts and words. Cultivating better thoughts and feelings is where it all starts. Start being mindful and careful of your thoughts and words because they are the building blocks to your future.
