Human desire is murky, and not always clear. Sometimes it’s profound and compelling, and other times it’s distant and faint. Some people have a great ability to listen to the calling of their desires, and they run with them, while others feel ashamed, or don’t even know their desires and the potential they contain. Knowing what you want is a great mystery for many!
At the heart of everything you want, those deep down yearning desires, lies the root of your purpose. That root is your highest self calling you to develop a skill, to serve the greater good, or to grow beyond your limits. At your core lies the root of advancement, and advancement comes to you in what you desire to do with your skills and time and what you want to have. Expressing your desire allows you to interact with reality in this wonderful dance we call life.
Desires aren’t selfish. Desires are the creative potential expressing themselves in you. Get in touch with those desires, set goals for yourself, and go for them. Once you reach them, you’ll have others, and you’ll keep dancing. Go higher and higher. That’s your purpose – to reach higher everyday, to touch as many lives as you can, and to express yourself, to better yourself, and to push the boundaries of your imagination. Your desires aren’t farfetched, or too big either. The fullness of life is reaching and stretching, connecting to the wonderful potential in you, and knowing that you have the full backing of the entire universe working in your favor. Having a plan, joining together in community with others, and expressing your contribution in the world is how you dance through life. It’s not a dirge, it’s a beautiful, playful symphony – join in and reap the rewards, your desires are leading the way!
