What needs to be revealed to you will always come, in due time. There’s no need to be suspicious or distrusting – probing, digging, or pressing others into a corner. The more you push, the more closed off people become. But if you open yourself to the truth, it comes in. If you are a safe place, others will express themselves to you, truthfully. They have a conscience, just like you, and it will eventually get the best of them. If you don’t tell the truth, yourself, your conscience will also have a way of taking its revenge. Deception has a self-destructing mechanism built right in. If a lie is brewing, it can only be contained momentarily before it erupts into a challenging circumstance. No-one has the capacity to contain secrets indefinitely. Containing a lie is a cancer of the soul.
The universe will reveal what’s true. What’s true will heal you. If you’re paranoid, it says more about your own insecurity, than it does about the truthfulness of others. If you feel uncertain, it may be because you haven’t asked, “What is my truth?” “What do I need to know?” Realizing the difference between deception and truth is perhaps one of life’s greatest challenges, but in all instances, the truth is cathartic, liberating. Even if it changes your life radically, the truth wants to be known. Seek the truth and live that truth. Channel it openly, receive it calmly, and it will always relieve you of your angst. If you feel someone is lying, give them the space to confess. Trust that the truth is coming your way, and stop being Sherlock. There is never a need to be an invasive, interrogating detective. The universe won’t leave you clueless forever. It will eventually let you know if it was Colonel Mustard, in the library, with the candlestick.
