An authoritative person is secure and uncompromising for what they know is right. They are honest but firm when they have to say “no.” They know what they want, and they find friends and opportunities that align with what they desire. They don’t condemn or undermine their desires, either. An authoritative person owns up to their own worthiness for greatness. But an authoritative person also creates no enemies in the process of owning up to who they are, and they have no competitors. This is especially true of their inner enemies, a mind that says “you’re no good,” or the inner competitor, a mind that tries to make everything a contest with others. An authority figure doesn’t create enemies or competitors (inner or outer). That’s because a real authority is at peace with itself, it’s never conflicted nor is it in conflict. That’s because it holds power over itself.
No one builds a kingdom out of self doubt or struggle. Doubt is weak; struggle is depleting. People will trust you when you own up to your true self. You’re the expert of no-one else but you, and when you realize this, you’ll be perceived as a secure person. An insecure person, one who doesn’t know their truth will be perceived as untrustworthy. That’s because they have given their authority over to others, or they haven’t claimed it yet because their mind is too busy saying “I can’t.”
Serve your truth, and lead yourself to who you are meant to be. Step into your authority, claim your power, but never use it to defeat another. Use it only to exercise dominion over yourself, gracefully, patiently, and gently. Know what’s rightfully yours and what you deserve, and never sell yourself short by settling for what feels like a compromise. Own up to your own authority. The world is waiting for you to claim your throne and to inherit your truth – the truth that you are much more deserving than you think you are.
