Success is not in limited supply. Envy is a way of wanting to steal the crown from the victor, to step in and to take the spotlight away from another. But you cannot steal success like that – it’s infinite, and so is wealth, fulfillment, love, and joy! Those things are for everyone, not just the so-called winners in life.
People try to steal and hoard success by copying others, or by trying to diminish their accomplishments. Success and abundance are limitless however, so trying to defeat the champ is all in vain. Envy is a distraction. Envy makes you unable to see the success that awaits your particular destiny. The envious are blind. They’re too busy meddling in someone else’s winning moments that they cannot see what awaits them. What about your winning moment? Are you closing doors by being envious?
Don’t try to bring down the champion to get to your winner’s circle. When your eye is on the prize of another person’s victory, your victory will never come. Winners are promoted to the winner’s circle by the cheerleading section. In order for people to promote you, you need to be the cheerleader first, not the hater, or the one who discourages. Respect the victories of others. Honor them with genuine celebration. Isn’t that what you’d want when you win? Success is not in limited supply, it’s your thinking that is limited, when you are competitive. Celebrate the champion, promote their accomplishments, and smile with those who find success. Success is coming your way, just wait your turn. In the meantime, pick up your pompoms and celebrate with a great cheer of victory when others win. When it’s your turn to take the crown, your fans will be smiling and cheering you on to glory. What a great feeling when everyone wins!
